121 Training is available throughout Edinburgh by both of our skilled trainers, and classes are available within Leith.
Avril Young has been with Lothlorien since 2013, and has a background of working her dogs in the showring & qualifying for crufts. Most recently, Avril gained her PCT-A qualification which she is extremely proud of. Her passions alongside mixing the showring & clicker training are scentwork based training. Being a certified Scentwork UK Trainer/judge/trial manager she is kept busy and we are excited to see what the future holds for her. Avril runs multiple different levels of scent work classes in our Linlithgow Centre, and is available for training 121s & on request scent based 121s over a wider area.
John shares his life with his Beagle Junior, and recently gained his PCT-A alongside Avril. He has continued his studies and is now enjoying exploring and playing with behaviour science and it's boundaries.
John teaches Lothlorien classes in Edinburgh & is really enjoying the experience after teaching & training at Linlithgow.
He also offers 121 training across the Edinburgh area too.
Riz has been professionally training dogs and running her own dog walking business for over a decade now.
She shares her life with her 3 German Shepherds, and has previously fostered dogs who need a little extra help to get by in the world and helped them shine as the confident dog they are. Riz has a keen interest in helping find what makes your dog tick and building a programme around that.
She is also an accredited trainer with the ADPT, membership no. 01431
Based in Edinburgh, Rizia co-teaches classes with John at Stockbridge and is available to book for 121s.
